30 Hour Famine

If you’re going to join us for 30 Hour Famine this weekend, be excited!  We definitely are.

All the details that students and parents need to know before this weekend can be accessed by clicking on the “30 Hour Famine Details” file below.

Also, we need Medical and Liability Release forms on some of you!  (This is not the same as the Parent Permission slip that came with the 30 Hour Famine packet.)  The Medical and Liability Release Form must be filled out before a student can participate in any 518 Ministries event during the 2008-2009 school year.  Parents are asked to please print the Medical and Liability Release form, fill it out, and send it with their students on Friday afternoon. (Or fill it out at the Student Center on Wednesday night of this week.)

Tonight’s Schedule

518 Ministries Schedule for Wednesday, October 8:

After School Ministry, 3:00-8:00pm.

We will not have Drama practice or 518 Xtreme this week.  Look for those to start up again next Wednesday! 

Our “split” schedule will resume for Bible Study:

  • 518 JV (6th - 8th grades): 6:30-7:00
  • Joint Worship - 7:00-7:30
  • 518 Varsity (9th-12th grades): 7:30-8:00

Flexibility is the Name of the Game

Sometimes natural disasters require some flexibility!

Since we have over 100 Red Cross volunteers staying in our Student Center, we will be moving 518 to the fellowship hall for the next several weeks.

We will meet all together from 6:30 - 8:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall just like old times.

To thank you for your willingness to help out the Red Cross by moving our Wednesday night service, we will be having free food each time we meet across the street.

Make sure to invite your friends and I’ll see you tomorrow night for 518 in the fellowship hall!

(We will have NO Afterschool, Drama, or 518 Extreme for the next several weeks.

We will continue to meet in the Student Center on Sundays.)

New 518 Schedule

6:30 - 7:00 - 518 JV (6th-8th Grade)

7:00 - 7:30 -  Joint Worship

7:30 - 8:00 - 518 Varsity (9th - 12th Grade)
